The lift pump is a very critical part of the fuel system, without proper diesel flow rate and pressure you can destroy your expensive injection P pump. Our pumps are tested from the factory for proper flow volume and pressure with non-flammable test oil that is the same viscosity as diesel fuel.
Note:- you will see oil on this pump, it is normal because of the testing process.
Majority of pumps do not have a weep hole, when the seal leaks, diesel will leak inside the crankcase and mix with the engine oil. You will never know about the leak, but critical bearing damage can occur.
